100% Grass-Fed BBQ Pull Apart Beef[ Print Recipe ]
Description:
This summer recipe lets you focus on your guests, not your grill. You can prepare it the day before, slow cooking, and know you're sharing flavor and a twice-healthy dish: our 100% Grass Fed Beef is as healthy as can be, and the low heat slow-cooking preserves what's most nourishing about this meat. Put out the buns and the beef. Enjoy your company!
Ingredients:
- 7-8 lbs Roast or Brisket
- 1 stalk celery (chopped)
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 1 sm. carton vegetable broth
- 1 sm. carton Organic Free-Range Chicken Stock
- 2 bottles BBQ sauce
- 1.5 lbs Ground beef (optional)
Preparation:
- Place brisket / roast in crock-pot
- Add broth and chicken stock to completely cover meat
- Cook on Low 8 hours until roast flakes easily with fork
- Drain off broth
- Shred roast with fork, and put back in crock pot
- Chop onion and celery and add to crock-pot
- Optional ? Brown ground beef and add to crock-pot
- Add BBQ sauce, salt/pepper to taste
- Optional ? add fresh garlic
- Cook _ hour on low ? serve hot right from crock-pot
